Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated with great pride and patriotism at St. Mary's School on 26th July to honour the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Kargil War of 1999.
The programme began with a special morning assembly. Students paid tribute to the martyrs by observing a two-minute silence. They delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the courage, dedication, and patriotism of our soldiers. Patriotic songs and poems were presented, filling the atmosphere with national pride.
Students also participated in poster-making and slogan-writing activities to express their respect for the heroes of the nation. Teachers encouraged students to remember the sacrifices of the armed forces and inspired them to become responsible and patriotic citizens.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a deep sense of gratitude and respect for the brave soldiers who safeguard our nation.
